Witnessing the incredible privilege of being in the operating room during life-saving surgeries, km.zero documented the lifesaving work of the Novick Cardiac Alliance. Their team travels worldwide to correct congenital heart defects in thousands of children.
The process:
Embedding with the international team of doctors and nurses, km.zero captured the reality of saving lives, the quiet moments in the waiting room with the parents, and the first reunion after successful surgeries. In addition, km.zero was present with Dr. Novick as he completed a similar medical mission in Iraq.
